Save Temecula (“we,” “us,” “our”) is a community advocacy campaign. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through SaveTemecula.org, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us. When you use our contact form, sign up for updates, or take action, we collect what you submit — which may include your name, email address, phone number, street address or neighborhood, and any message content.
  • Donations. Donations are processed by our third-party payment provider (Zeffy). We do not collect or store your payment card details; those are handled by the provider.
  • Analytics (only with your consent). If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand site traffic. This sets cookies and collects usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location, and device/browser type. Analytics does not run until you opt in, and you can decline or change your choice at any time.

How we use information

  • To respond to your messages and requests.
  • To send campaign updates you asked for (you can unsubscribe anytime).
  • To organize community outreach and understand where support is strong.
  • To measure and improve the website (only with analytics consent).

Who we share it with

We do not sell or share your personal information for money or for cross-context behavioral advertising. We use trusted service providers to operate the campaign, and information you submit flows to them only to provide their service:

  • Formspree — contact-form delivery.
  • EmailOctopus — email list sign-ups and updates.
  • Zeffy — donation processing.
  • Google Analytics — website analytics (consent-based).

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

Cookies & your choices

We show a consent banner before any analytics cookies are set. You can accept or decline, and you can revisit your choice at any time using . Declining keeps analytics off. Essential functions of the site work without cookies.
